Where To Go

Where To Go

Renault Winery Resort, Egg Harbor City

Immerse yourself in NJ’s oldest operating winery’s historical grounds, which features events like sip ‘n paint, comedy shows, food trucks, fire pits, and live bands on the patio accompanied by pitchers of Sangria. Their seasonal winter Vintner Wonderland offers an ice skating rink and spiked hot cocoa.

Frenchman Louis Nicholas Renault discovered the treasured soil atop this flat of land over 150 years ago. In addition to the French-inspired atmosphere, Renault Winery Resort is expansive with an 18 hole championship golf course where you can tee off amongst the age-old vines. Forget about arranging a ride home after your day of wine tasting and book an overnight stay at Renault’s Chateau Hotel just across the street.

Must TasteRenault’s Blueberry Champagne: semi-sweet, crisp, and effervescent — like sipping happiness from a glass.

Being surrounded by both the ocean and the bay makes for a unique microclimate for growing grapes among a beautiful landscape. At Willow Creek Farm and Winery, you can take a guided tour, attend a farm festival, or just relax on the patio and enjoy the view with a menu of a wide variety of aged cheeses and imported meats to choose from.

Cape May is home to so many happenings and activities during the warmer months, but Willow Creek Farm and Winery is a great excuse to come back in the fall for a different experience.

Must TasteWilde Cock Apple Wine: local South Jersey fermented apples, sip as an aperitif before dinner or pair with fine aged cheeses.
